All of our equipment runs out of our Tampa yard. Delivery is priced per direction based on distance. Most rentals need both a drop-off and a pickup, so total transport runs about twice the per-direction tier. Every quote shows the exact number for your zip. No guessing, no surcharges added later.

Florida's construction calendar is shaped by hurricane season. Storm-impact glass projects, post-storm rebuilds, and condo facade work cluster in August through November. That's exactly when general rental yards run out of specialty lift gear. We plan around it. Book your Smartlift rental as early as you can during peak storm-rebuild months. We hold dates with deposits.
Florida coverage FAQ.
Do you really deliver anywhere in Florida?
Yes. Tampa and St. Petersburg are Tier 1 and get same-day delivery when the unit is on the yard. Every other metro is next-day, based on availability and routing. We always recommend booking ahead. We don't add fuel surcharges or "remote location" fees on top of the tier rate.
What if my city isn't on the list?
Send your zip and we'll quote it. The city list above is the most common metros, not a full coverage map. We've delivered to towns we'd never heard of before. If your job is in Florida, we'll get the unit there.
Can you deliver out of state?
Not for v1. We're focused on Florida. Out-of-state delivery may come later, but it isn't part of our current service offering.
How is the delivery fee calculated exactly?
We measure distance from our Tampa yard to your jobsite zip. Tier 1 is roughly within 50 miles. Tier 2 is 50 to 150 miles. Tier 3 is 150+ miles. Each direction (drop-off, pickup) is charged separately.
Do storm-season rentals book up faster?
Yes. Late summer and fall are our heaviest weeks, especially for residential and commercial glass projects after named storms. Book early during hurricane season, even with tentative dates, and we'll hold the unit with a deposit.
