What you're renting
The unit. One Smartlift SL609 HLE RT, Smartlift's 600 kg-class outdoor vacuum lifter (1,320 lb capacity with the arm in, 330 lb at full extension). What's included. A ramp for getting the unit over a curb or a few steps. An on-delivery walkthrough. Phone support during your rental. Optional attachments. Fork attachment, hook + grapple. Available on request, small per-rental fee.
Pricing
Day rate $625. Week rate $1,625 for seven consecutive days. Month rate $5,200 for 28 consecutive days. Insurance is a flat 15% of the rental subtotal as a separate line. It covers normal-use incidents. It does not cover gross negligence or operating outside spec. Delivery is per direction, by freight zone from our Tampa yard: Zone 1 (0 to 30 miles) $150, Zone 2 (30 to 70) $225, Zone 3 (70 to 110) $300, Zone 4 (110 to 160) $350, Zone 5 (160 to 220) $400, Zone 6 (220+) $520. Most rentals need both a drop-off and a pickup, so total transport is roughly twice the listed zone. Pickup is waived on rentals longer than 2 months. Quoted exact for your zip on every estimate. Delivery and pickup
We handle every drop-off and pickup. Self-pickup is not available. The reason is insurance. Our policy covers the unit in transit on our trucks, and we'd rather carry that risk than ask a customer to. We schedule delivery windows in advance. If we're going to be late, you hear from us before you wonder.
Operator rules
Operators are not included in standard rental pricing. Our delivery driver walks your crew through the controls on drop-off. The unit is intuitive. If you can drive a pallet jack, you can run a Smartlift. Required: your operator must be 18+, fit, sober, and trained on the walkthrough. Don't let an untrained person run the unit. Available on request: a Smartlift-trained operator from our team can run the unit on your jobsite, quoted as a separate line.
What's covered if something goes wrong
Insurance covers normal-use incidents. Operator-error scratches, dings, accidental drops within rated capacity. Insurance does not cover gross negligence, operating outside the unit's published specs, leaving the unit unsecured overnight without reasonable care, or intentional misuse. What "reasonable care" means is in the signed agreement. We don't ambush anyone with hidden damage clauses. We'll walk through it with you before you sign.
If the unit breaks down during your rental and it isn't your fault, call us. We'll troubleshoot remotely, swap the unit if we can, or credit the day if we can't.
Cancellation, holds, and changes
Cancel 48+ hours before drop-off: full refund. Cancel inside 48 hours: the delivery deposit may be kept to cover routed-truck cost. Reschedule: free if the unit is available on the new date. Storm holds: during named-storm activity in Florida, we'll work with you to reschedule rentals at no penalty if the job is rained out or the jobsite is closed.
Payment
Methods: credit card or wire/ACH. Timing: card runs at booking. Wire/ACH due before delivery. No checks. No cash on delivery. Tax: Florida sales tax applies unless you have a current resale or tax-exempt certificate on file.
Liability
Iron Bay isn't responsible for damages to your jobsite, materials, or third parties caused by the use of the equipment. The customer is responsible for safe operation. The signed rental agreement covers indemnity in detail. If your project owner or GC needs us listed as additional insured on a certificate of insurance, send the requirements with your booking and we'll coordinate.
Florida governing law
The rental agreement is governed by Florida law. Any dispute about the rental goes to a court in Hillsborough County, Florida.

The summary on this page is not the binding contract. The binding rental agreement is a separate document we send you with your quote. You sign it before delivery. Read it. Ask questions. We'd rather walk through it with you than have a surprise on day three of the rental.
