What we collect
Information you give us in the quote form. Name, company, phone, email, jobsite zip, equipment needed, dates, and anything you write in the notes field.
Information you give us in email or text. Whatever you send to rentals@ironbayequipment.com or our text line.
Information your browser sends automatically. IP address, device type, browser, referring page, and how you moved through our pages, once analytics is active on the site.
Cookies. Small files that analytics tools save in your browser. They tell us things like "this is a returning visitor" and "this page got a click on the call button."
What we use it for
To quote, schedule, and deliver your rental. To answer questions you send us. To improve the site (which pages get traffic, where users drop off, what content earns clicks). To understand how marketing campaigns perform.
We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't ship it overseas. The only third parties that see it are the tools we use to run the business (form relay, analytics, email).
Third-party tools we use
Form relay. Quote-form submissions are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit, a form-to-email relay. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager once analytics is live (see Google's privacy policy). Email provider for rentals@ironbayequipment.com. SMS provider routing texts to the same number. If we add or change any of these, we update this list.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and customer info: as long as we have an active relationship, plus 7 years for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes. Analytics data: per Google's standard retention. Marketing data: until you ask us to remove you.
Your choices
Don't want cookies? Most browsers let you block them in settings. You can also use the site without submitting the quote form. Want to know what we have on you? Email rentals@ironbayequipment.com and we'll send you a summary. Want us to delete it? Same email. We'll do it within 30 days unless we're legally required to keep it for tax or audit reasons. Want to opt out of marketing? We don't send unsolicited marketing email today. If we ever do, every email will have a one-click unsubscribe.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number to send transactional and conversational messages about your quotes, scheduling, deliveries, and rentals. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only parties that process this data are the messaging service providers we use to deliver the texts, solely for that purpose. Full program terms are in our SMS terms.
Children
Iron Bay's site and services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think your child sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Florida and U.S. residents
Iron Bay is based in Florida. By using the site, you agree your data is stored and processed in the United States. Florida residents have rights under Florida law to access, correct, and delete their information. Contact us to use those rights.
Security
We use standard security practices for a small business site. HTTPS everywhere, vetted third-party tools, access controls on customer data. No site is fully secure. If we discover a breach, we'll notify affected customers as required by law.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the "last updated" date at the bottom and the policy itself. Material changes get a banner at the top of the site for 30 days.
