What we've done
Semantic HTML. Real headings, lists, buttons, and form inputs. Screen readers see structure, not soup. Alt text on every image that conveys meaning. Decorative images are marked as such. Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element is reachable with the Tab key. Focus is visible. Focus order matches reading order. Color contrast. Text and important visual elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios. Touch targets. Mobile buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Form labels. Every form field has a visible label wired to the input for assistive tech. Reduced-motion respect. Animations honor the prefers-reduced-motion setting. Resizable text. The site stays readable when text is zoomed up to 200%. Plain language. Copy is written at a 6th-to-8th grade reading level. Hablamos español. Phone and text support in Spanish, listed in the global header.
What we know we still need to fix
No site is perfectly accessible on day one. We track known issues and prioritize them. Current items: photo placeholders across the site will be replaced with real photography and descriptive alt text. PDF documents (rental agreement, spec sheets) may not be fully tagged for screen readers in v1. We'll provide an HTML alternative or a tagged PDF on request.
How to report a problem
Found something that doesn't work for you? Tell us. We respond to accessibility reports as quickly as we can, usually within two business days.
Email: rentals@ironbayequipment.com with subject "Accessibility." Phone: (855) 677-7368, 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Text: same number.
Tell us what you were trying to do, what page you were on, and what assistive tools you use. The more detail, the faster we fix.
Alternative ways to reach us
If the site isn't working for you, every part of our service is also available by phone or text. Quote requests, scheduling, and rental agreements can all be handled with a real person on the phone. We don't gate any part of the business behind a website.
Standards we aim for
We work to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and check accessibility on every page deployment.
