All rentals are for the Smartlift SL609 HLE RT. We hold the unit for the dates you book. No dropping you for a higher bidder, no last-minute swaps.
A Smartlift is a six-figure piece of equipment. Insurance protects both of us if something happens during your rental. Operator error, jobsite mishap, weather, theft. We charge a flat 15% of the rental as a separate line item on every quote. It isn't a profit center. It's the cost of carrying the equipment on a commercial liability policy that's actually rated for what we rent.
No deductibles to negotiate, no claim paperwork on your end, no asking your GC's policy to add us as additional insured.
Our yard is in Tampa. Delivery is a flat fee based on which tier your jobsite zip falls into. It's charged per direction. Most rentals need both a drop-off and a pickup, so total transport runs about 2x the listed tier. Every quote shows the exact number for your zip.
| Tier | Approx. distance from Tampa HQ | Per-direction | Typical metros |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | within ~50 miles | $150 | Tampa, St. Petersburg, Brandon, Riverview, Lakeland, Sarasota |
| 2 | ~50 to 150 miles | $300 | Orlando, Kissimmee, Fort Myers, Naples |
| 3 | ~150+ miles | $400 | Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Pensacola |
Self-pickup is not available. Smartlifts are specialized, expensive equipment. Our insurance covers them in transit on our trucks. We'd rather carry that risk than ask a customer to.

Real quotes will show the same line structure with your actual dates and zip. No "miscellaneous" line, no "convenience fee."
Special pricing tiers open up for repeat customers. Stone shops with weekly slab installs, glaziers running multi-month curtain wall projects, GCs with year-long fit-out schedules. Pricing is conversation-based, not a published table. Once your rental history qualifies, we'll quote your next jobs at the program rate.
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover. The quote runs against the card at booking. Insurance hold may apply on longer rentals.
For larger or recurring rentals, wire/ACH is the cleaner path. We'll send wiring instructions with your invoice.
No checks for v1. No cash on delivery.
Full refund.
Delivery deposit may be retained to cover routed-truck cost.
Free if the unit is available on the new date.
During named-storm activity in Florida, we'll work with you to reschedule rentals at no penalty if a job is rained out or jobsite-closed.
Nothing here is in fine print elsewhere. If you're worried about a specific scenario, ask before booking.
No, but they don't need to be. Our delivery driver walks your crew through the controls on drop-off, and the unit is intuitive. If you can drive a pallet jack, you can run a Smartlift. If you'd rather have one of ours operate it, ask and we'll quote it as a separate line.
The 15% insurance line covers normal-use incidents. Operator-error scratches, dings, accidental drops within rated capacity. Gross negligence (operating outside spec, leaving it unsecured overnight, intentional misuse) is on the customer. We don't ambush anyone with hidden damage clauses. We'll walk through the rental agreement before you sign.
We deliver 7 days a week. After-hours (after 5pm) delivery is available with notice and may add a small premium. Never a surprise.
One day. Some specialty lifters require multi-day minimums. We don't.
Call us right away. We'll troubleshoot remotely, and if the unit can't be returned to service we'll either swap it or credit the day. We don't make customers eat downtime that isn't their fault.
Optional fork attachment and hook + grapple are available for unique lifts. Tell us what you need to lift on your quote and we'll add the right attachment.
If your business has a Florida resale or tax-exempt certificate, send it with your booking and we'll exempt the eligible lines.
Send us the dates, zip, and equipment, and we'll have a full itemized quote back to you within 2 hours. 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week.
