We rent Smartlift glass and stone vacuum lifters across Florida. That is the whole business, and the narrowness is deliberate.
Why we exist.
There was a gap, and it was a specific one.
The machines were here, the rentals were not
Florida is the biggest stone fabrication market in the country and glass goes into every building on the coast. Getting a vacuum lifter for a week should not have been hard, and it was.
We know material handling
Between us there are many years around this kind of equipment. That is why we can tell you what a machine will not do as readily as what it will.
One fleet, known completely
We rent two machines. We know their limits, their quirks, and exactly which jobs to turn down. A broad catalogue would make us worse at this, not better.
We would rather turn down a job than send the wrong machine.

We are in Smartlift's trusted partner network. The manufacturer sends people our way when they want to try a machine before buying one, or when they need to rent inside our service area.
What that means precisely: we can source, spec, and quote any model in the line, and we know the equipment properly. It does not mean we are the factory, an exclusive distributor, or the only people in Florida who can help you. We would rather be accurate than impressive.

How long has Iron Bay been renting Smartlifts?
We are a young company with people who are not new to material handling. The rental business is deliberately narrow because we would rather do one thing properly than five things adequately.
Why only Smartlift?
Because a fleet you know completely beats a fleet you know a little about. We can tell you what these machines will not do, which is worth more than a catalogue.
Are you a Smartlift dealer?
We are in Smartlift's trusted partner network. The manufacturer refers customers to us who want to try a machine before buying, or who need to rent in Florida. We are not the factory and we do not claim to be.
Do you rent anywhere outside Florida?
No. Florida only. It keeps the trucks short and the response fast, and both of those are the actual product.
Can I see the equipment before I book?
Yes. Call and arrange it. We would rather you look at it than take our word for it.
