With the fork attachment on, this is a lifting machine rather than a vacuum lifter.

Drives through a standard 36 inch doorway with the legs up. It needs 5 ft 8 in to set the legs down and work, so measure the room as well as the door.

Can it put a condenser on a rooftop?

Only if the roof sits below reach height. This is not a crane and we will tell you plainly when the job needs one. For a raised residential slab it is the right tool.

Do I need the fork attachment?

For a condenser, yes. Ask for it when you quote. The vacuum head is for flat non-porous faces, which a condenser is not.

How high can it reach?

It lifts to 13 ft 11 in. Capacity drops as the arm extends, from 1,320 lb close in to 330 lb at full reach. With the fork on, the fork's own 1,100 lb rating applies, and the limit still drops as the arm reaches out. Give us the unit weight and the slab height and we will confirm before you book.

Will it cross a sand or grass yard?

Yes. It is an Outdoor-series machine on wide off-road tires, and a ramp comes at no extra cost for a curb or a few steps, just ask when you book.

Do I need a licensed operator?

No. There is no license for a Smartlift. Our driver walks your crew through the controls on drop-off. Anyone who runs it must be 18 or older and have read the manual.
