1. What does it cost to rent a glazing robot in Tampa?

   Every Iron Bay rental is quoted for the job. Four things set the number: how long you keep it, the delivery zone, the damage waiver, and delivery both ways. Send the jobsite zip and your dates and an itemized quote comes back within two hours.

2. Will a Smartlift fit through a 36-inch door?

   Yes. The SL609 HLE RT drives through at 32.7 in with the support legs up, so a standard 36-inch doorway clears. It needs 5 ft 8 in of width to set the legs down and lift, so measure the room as well as the door.

3. Do I need a licensed operator to run a glazing robot?

   No. There is no license or certification card for running a Smartlift. Our driver walks your crew through the controls at drop-off, and you have our number for the whole rental. If you can drive a pallet jack, you can run a Smartlift.

4. Can a vacuum lifter be used on a finished floor indoors?

   Yes, with two things sorted first. The SL609 HLE RT is battery-electric, so there are no fumes and it runs inside an occupied building. It is also a 2,090 lb Outdoor-series machine on standard tires, which can mark a finished floor. Non-marking wheels are an available option, so tell us it is a finished floor when you book.

5. How do you get a 10-foot porcelain slab to the second floor?

   Not up the stairs. A house landing is too shallow to turn a ten-foot-six slab, and porcelain shatters when it goes. The way up is from outside, with a vacuum lifter that lifts to 13 ft 11 in and holds the slab flat while one person walks it in on a remote. It lifts 1,320 lb close to the mast and 330 lb at full extension, so where the machine can park matters more than what the slab weighs.
