Privacy policy.
We collect what we need to quote your job and nothing else. We do not sell your information and we do not run a newsletter.
What we collect
What you type into a quote form: name, company, phone, email, jobsite zip, dates, and what you are lifting. If you call or text, we keep the number and what was discussed.
What we use it for
Quoting your job, scheduling a rental, and following up about it. That is the list.
Who processes it
Our CRM, which holds quote requests as lead records. Our email provider, for rentals@ironbayequipment.com. Our SMS provider, if you asked us to text you. If we add or change a processor, this list changes with it.
Analytics and session recording
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how a visitor moves through a page including clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement. Clarity produces a replay of the visit. It masks typed input by default, so what you enter into a form is not captured in the replay. Both set cookies. Neither is used to identify you personally, and we do not sell what they collect. If you would rather not be recorded, most browsers can block these scripts and the site works normally without them.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. Analytics tools set them once they are live. Your browser can block or clear them and the site will still function.
Text messages
If you tick the consent box on a quote form we may text you about that quote. Reply STOP to end it. Full detail is in our SMS terms.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and customer records for as long as we have a relationship, plus seven years for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes. Analytics data on the provider's standard retention.
Your choices
Ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will. Email rentals@ironbayequipment.com or call (855) 677-7368. We do not require an account, so there is nothing to close.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who can see quote records. No system is perfect and we will not claim otherwise.
Changes
We update this when what we do changes. The date at the top of this page is when we last did.
